Pride Alliance Internship

The Pride Alliance Internship is a year-long internship and a collaborative program with the LGBTQ+2S Resource Center and ASUA focused on the development of queers and trans student leaders on campus. Pride Alliance is committed to fostering a safe environment so that LGBTQ+2S students can thrive in a world that is fighting against us.

Participate in a weekly class (TLS 495) with other interns focusing on social justice & liberation of queer and trans folks!

Develop LGBTQ+2S RC Programming and work directly with campus & community partners!

Solidarity Coalition Trainings

Born out of a need for institutional support in moving people on campus into action, Solidarity Coalition trainings address what active solidarity with LGBTQ+2S people and communities looks like in practice. We aim to ask and answer three questions:

  1. Why are LGBTQ+ people oppressed?
  2. What does this oppression look like?
  3. What are we going to do about it?

We offer 2 types of trainings: Individual trainings to attend individually or with a friend. These are offered in our center and are a great way to meet people from across the UofA Community. Department trainings for a whole department, class, club, or other U of A group. When you participate in a Solidarity Coalition training, you and your peers become part of the coalition to change the material conditions for queer and trans people on campus and in Southern Arizona.
