The Student Culture & Engagement Hub aims to build a vibrant, welcoming University community where students feel connected, empowered, and supported. Our six student spaces are open to all students and offer opportunities for meaningful engagement and participation in programs that encourage retention, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

Open Houses

We welcome all students to attend the open house events hosted by our six spaces.

  • Join us at the MLK Jr. Student Space on Thursday, September 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to engage with the Black/African American community.
  • Join us at the Women & Gender Student Space on Thursday, September 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Join us at the Highland Commons D217 Student Space on Friday, September 5, from Noon to 2:00 p.m. to engage with the Neurodivergent and Disabled community.
  • Join us at the SUMC 409 Student Space on Monday, September 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to engage with the APIDA community.
  • Join us at the SUMC 404 Student Space on Wednesday, September 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to engage with the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Join us at the Guerrero Student Space on Thursday, September 18, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to engage with the Latine/x community.
