Dream Speaker Series 

Our series remains deeply committed to fostering a platform for critical dialogue within academia. We strive to showcase a range of perspectives, amplify important scholarly discussions, celebrate the intellectual and cultural contributions of Black scholars, and enhance collaboration among Black faculty, students, and staff—all while promoting meaningful community engagement.

As we look to the future, we are excited to expand our horizons. To ensure we are creating an inclusive space for voices from all backgrounds, we are transitioning our name from the Black Faculty Speaker Series to the Dream Speaker Series. This evolution is directly inspired by and tied to The MLK Dream Space. Housed within the Student Culture & Engagement Hub, this space is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging, advocacy, and scholarly excellence for Black students while serving as an essential resource for the entire University of Arizona community.

We invite you to support the Dream Speaker Series as we step into this vibrant next chapter, broadening our community reach while staying rooted in our core mission of impactful, diverse storytelling and connection.
