Adalberto & Ana Guerrero Student Space Graduation Celebration 

“Through this ceremony, we are able to create space for a student population that is not always recognized or heard in the same ways other students are. When we are not given space, we must create our own.”

The Guerrero Student Space Graduation Celebration is a special celebration of the achievements of our Latinx students.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • All majors are invited, and all graduating student are welcome
  • Spring 2026 graduates, along with students who graduated in Fall 2025 or will graduate in Summer 2026 are eligible to participate
  • Previous involvement with the Guerrero Student Space is not required
  • Graduates are encouraged to wear cap and gown or business formal attire
  • Graduates will receive a Guerrero Student Space token of appreciation
  • Each graduate will be highlighted individually on our slideshow
  • This will be a Bilingual (English/Spanish) event
  • Guests are welcome! More information to come!
  • Free parking at Tyndall garage
The GSS Graduation Celebration will take place on Wednesday May 13th, 2026 at 7:00PM
Graduating students are invited to register for the graduation celebration using the link below. Register by April 30th to guarantee that your name and information will appear in the program and slideshow.

Convocation Award 2026

UAHA x GSS OUTSTANDING GRADUATE AWARDS 

University of Arizona Hispanic Alumni Club (UAHA) Outstanding Graduating Senior & Graduate/Professional Student Awards. Students selected as award recipients will be presented during the 42nd Annual Graduation Celebration

Due Date: April 18, 2026

Eligibility: 

  • Complete your degree program in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026.
  • Register for and plan to attend the 42st Annual Graduation Celebration on May 13th, 2026.
  • Complete nominee form by deadline.

The University of Arizona Hispanic Alumni Club (UAHA) will recognize two outstanding graduating undergraduates and two outstanding graduating graduate/professional students, who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and dedicated community service, with an interest and commitment to the Latinx community. Students selected as award recipients will be presented during the 42nd Annual Graduation Celebration on May 13th, 2026. Award recipients will also receive a cash award of $500.
