Campus Community Connections Releases 2025-26 Impact Report

TUCSON, AZ — August 6, 2026 — Campus Community Connections (CCC) released its 2025-2026 Impact Report, highlighting significant accomplishments in student engagement, community building, faculty and staff development, and efforts to foster belonging across the university community.

The report showcases the work of CCC's Student Culture & Engagement Hub (SCEH), the Three Pillars of Connection initiatives, Learning & Engagement initiatives, faculty and staff community groups, and community partnerships. Together, these efforts advance the division's mission of creating a vibrant, welcoming university where students, faculty, staff, and community members feel connected, empowered, and supported.

Key highlights include:

• Expanded Student Engagement and Support: CCC's six student spaces recorded 27,996 student visits and served 5,658 unique students during the academic year. The spaces hosted 977 programs and events attended by more than 21,700 participants, while 198 students accessed culturally responsive, site-based counseling services through partnerships with Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).
• Strong Impact on Student Belonging: A CCC survey found that 90% of responding students credited Student Spaces as a key contributor to their sense of belonging at the University of Arizona.
• Graduation and Student Success Initiatives: CCC supported 624 graduating students through culturally grounded graduation celebrations that were open to all students, welcoming more than 3,000 family and community members to campus.
• Community Building Through the Three Pillars of Connection: Programming focused on Community Belonging, Holistic Wellness, and Advocacy for Self & Others engaged students through leadership development, wellness initiatives, financial literacy programs, study abroad education, and advocacy opportunities.
• Faculty and Staff Engagement: CCC's Learning & Engagement lead facilitated educational workshops, panels, and trainings that reached more than 300 faculty, staff, and students, with participants reporting a 100% satisfaction score.
• Community Impact Symposium & Awards: The division welcomed faculty and staff to its second annual Community Impact Symposium & Awards, focused on care, connection, well-being, and community service. The event featured conversations about current university topics, community-building opportunities, and recognition of faculty, staff, and student leaders through the Community Impact Awards.

The report also highlights the continued growth of CCC's faculty and staff community groups, including UNIDOS, Sankofa Staff & Faculty Association, Lotus Faculty Staff Collective, Skoden UA!, the Disabled Staff & Faculty Coalition, and the Commission on the Status of Women, all of which contribute to fostering connection and support across campus.
