If you would like to donate directly to the students who frequent our space, you can do so by making a donation to our UA Foundation Account OR by purchasing something from our Amazon wishlist.

In Academic Year 2025-2026, the Women & Gender Student Space served 1,524 unique students as drop-in visitors to our main center (on the fourth floor of the Student Union) over nearly 8,000 visits, and saw 2,310 total program attendees across the 135 events hosted in our space or by our staff in other spaces on campus and in the Tucson community. Needless to say, this incredible impact is only possible with support from the entire community - our operating budget is only $26,300 annually, which includes managing the space, maintaining electronics, and providing supplies for lounge visitors to complete their homework and other course-related assignments. Programs are a HUGE piece of this budget, but are increasingly costly because of space reservations, rising costs of food, and increased demand for events such as self-defense workshops that require specialists to come lead them!

We are excited to be the premiere hub for gender-based work on a higher education campus in Arizona, partnering with critical campus programs like UA's Survivor Support Services and community initiatives from across Southern Arizona, but we could always use a helping hand to continue to expand our vital mission. 

These donations will serve marginalized students and allow our space to continue to offer the programming that guests have come to know and love since 1975.

  • Amazon Wishlist (All items donated go DIRECTLY into the hands of students or to the management of the physical space)
  • In-Person donations may be made to our front desk anytime that we are open. Please note that items must be individually packed (such as tampons, pads, etc.), though the external packaging can be open. Gently used garments, blankets, and craft supplies are also welcome if clean.
