AMIGUIS is a new initiative hosted by the Guerrero Student Space! This program was created in response to student's expressed desire to meet, connect, and build friendships/community with other Latinx students at a the University of Arizona campus. Through AMIGUIS we hope to foster opportunities for students to support each other throughout their academic journey and continue to foster a sense of belonging for Latinx students on campus!
An AMIGUIS will:
- Serve as ambassadors to connect to connect to the Guerrero Student Space and help connect other students to the centro!
- Attend AMIGUIS mixer events hosted by the Guerrero Student Space!
- Attend Guerrero Space and campus events together!
- Be each other's study buddy!
- Encourage+support each other!
Build lifelong FRIENDSHIPS!
