The Queerceañera is a coming-of-age celebration honoring Queer students at UArizona. This event reclaims and reimagines the tradition of a quinceañera as a space of pride, allowing students to celebrate in a space that affirms their identities.
Save the Date! For our First Queerceañerx, hosted by the Guerrero Student Space in collaboration with the Pride Student Space and Women & Gender Student Space! This celebration will be honoring Queer students at the University of Arizona. Join us to reclaim and reimagine the tradition of a ‘Quinceañera’ and transform it into a space of affirmation and pride, allowing students to celebrate their XV as their full, authentic self and amongst community. This is especially for those who may not have had the opportunity to have their coming of age celebrated in a way that honored who they are and/or who they have become.
