Audrie K. Ford is a proud First Cat (first-generation college student), community college transfer, and former homeschooler. She holds a B.A. in English and Communication and M.A. in Literature from the University of Arizona. In Fall 2023, she started her PhD in Higher Education. Her academic work has focused on unseating white feminism, and learning more about how stories (both sharing and reading) can themselves be tools for community building and healing.

Passionate about student-led programming and improving campus culture for the diverse body of students who live, learn, and work at UArizona, Audrie looks forward to collaborating with and learning from like-minded folks in her role at the space.

In their spare time, their life is run by three cats, Atticus, Tiberius and Cleo, and their growing Sailor Moon collection. They bring to this work the support of their family, the insightful minds of their friends in Academic Fissures, and a desire to challenge "the way things have been."
