The UA Lion Dance Team is a student-run performance group dedicated to celebrating and sharing Vietnamese culture through the vibrant art of lion dance. Our team is made up of passionate students—including instrumentalists, lion dancers, and an Ông Địa (the “Laughing Buddha”)—who work together to create dynamic, culturally rich performances. We perform at weddings, business openings, cultural festivals, and community celebrations, bringing good luck, positive energy, and an unforgettable show to every event. Beyond performing, we foster a strong community where students can learn traditional drumming, lion dance techniques, and the cultural significance behind each movement.
